Traditional temperature measurement methods just read the temperature and they are not able to support the advanced features AC diagnosis offers.
This smart IoT sensor, U.S. Pat. No. 10,408,515, measures outside temperature and humidity, and calculates the car's AC optimal vent temperature. Then it cross-references this information with an in-built refrigerant performance chart to diagnose any issues.

Refrigerants are fluids that are used to cool the air coming from your car's air conditioning system. These refrigerants come with performance charts that outline the optimal cooling system temperatures in a range of outdoor temperatures and humidities.
This is because, in hotter outdoor climates of 95°F, your car's air condition system needs to work harder than when the outdoor temperature is cooler, at around 65°F, and so the system will blow slightly warmer air.
AC diagnosis tool calculates this information automatically and it delivers advanced diagnosis via its own app.
